As i have worked for a travel agency, i know that the price we pay for our visa is the price charged by the companies in saudi that issue the unique numbers for the visa + the agents service charges. obviously, the agents will charge as they do employ people to go to the embassy and get passports stamped. minimum two journeys are made per visa to the embassy and plus uploading all the details to get the unique Number(Mofa)
Sadly for many people intending to travel for umrah from England this is proving to be a massive issue as they have already paid for flights and accommodation and are struggling to get there visas in time. All who read this Please kindly pray earnestly for your brothers and sisters that they get there visas in time and get there and never lose out. God guide the Saudis to respect all muslims and not always tighten the rules and be so strict.May they be more accommodating and make it easier for muslims to get there. AMEEN

I planning to for umraha on 9th April with my family spend £12000.0 with air line ticket and accommodation apply visa through agent 3 week ago still waiting for visa and worryng whether I will get it or not because Easter holiday starting in two days time
I am bit concern if Saudi embassy will issue umrah visa before Easter holidays.
I bought 5 tickets cost me £4,000 no -refundable, applied visa two weeks ago.
This is an add on from my previous post below. Just in case people say but you can make Dua from any where to ask Allah to cure your daughter well it is well known and it is in Hadiths that when a person stands in front of the Kaaba Allah grants there wish that is why wee need to get there quick
I have been cheated by a travel agent and he has taken money from my account and paid 3 diffrent hotels in Saudi for other people traveling. We were planning to take our daughter to Umrah as she is in her final stages of Ovarian Cancer and now we have been told that the Quota for March Umrah visas if full. We are desperate to get her there so we can as Allah to cure her. I have written an email to the Saudi Ambassad in London hoping he will recieve it but lets see. I request any Saudi Consulate worker reading this to please help to do away with Agents getting the visas for pilgrims.
i honestly feel we are being reaped off by travel agents charging £100 per passport for a religious trip.the sad thing even they can not guarantee the visa will be issued on time and say its due to Saudi embassy back logs and yet we have applied 1 month in advance. Please revise the costs and application process to make it easier for all of us .inshaAllah
