Hi there,
I tried to send an email through to the email address above, but it did not go through.
I said : "Will you please clarify exactly what you are looking for in regards to the Background Check/Fingerprinting for the Au pair Visa for Spain? I am unsure what documents I need in order to get fingerprints."
I hope to hear back from you soon.
Thank you.

My paternal grandparents were both Spanish citizens by birth before emigrating to the US. I would like to become a Spanish citizen and retire to Spain within a year or two. I have relatives in La Coruña, but do not yet own any property. Do I qualify for citizenship?

Hi. My name is Sochie Lewis. My daughter is currently on a study abroad program @ UCSB and she chose to go to Barcelona, Spain. My daughter's birthday is today May 14. Approximately 3 weeks ago my husband decided to give her for a birthday gift a camera. It was delivered throught USPS. Up to now she hasn't received the camera. The Barcelona, Spain Post Office is holding the camera for whatever reasons up to now I don't know what. We are willing to pay for whatever import taxes they would charge for it. It is not cheap. In the $1,000.00 US dollar range. I just feel so bad that she could not get to use this on her birthday or for that matter whether she could really get hold of the camera at all. She already asked for help from her University instructors of the University of Barcelona. I'm informing your office about this as I instructed my daughter whether she could get help from the US Embassy in Barcelona about this matter. Hoping for you kind consideration on the matter.

I am furious. The Spanish consulate in SF (where I live) tells me that it cannot help me and when I ask where to get help, puts me on hold! Really, how rude! I have tried at my expense ($85 US the first time last xmas; $75 in October again) twice to send a package to my family in Barcelona, Spain. The contents are listed on the customs' certificate. My family is told to come from Barcelona to Madrid or the package will be returned! Spain is really in the dark ages still. Tragic.
Hello,
I sent an email to the email address listed in this website : conspsfo@correo.maec.es
but it did not go through. Please verify it. thank you.
I would like to know how can customs hold a package that I have sent my daughter and not release, and forward it to her. I feel that something should be done since she is studing in Barcelona, and is staying with a famliy there. I can't tell you how disapointed I am since all I had sent was a camera that was stolen there along with a flash card. Customs has had this package since September 15 2011, and has given no responce as to when she will be reciveing her package.
